Manual Lymph Drainage massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a therapy designed to promote the function of the lymphatic system.
With today's sedentary lifestyles, pollution, bad eating habits - low in nutrients and fiber, causing constipation and other health disorders, the lymphatic system becomes sluggish or stagnant. This is typical in the area of the buttocks and thighs where cellulite often appears. In other areas the lymphatic fluid can build up in the body's tissues and cause swelling.
Method
MLD activates the lymphatic system. This is achieved by specific manual technique that stimulates the lymph nodes and lymph system using gentle rhythmical strokes. The primary function of lymphatic system is to collect an excessive and worn-out lymph fluid (body fluid yellowish colored) from body tissues and transport it to lymph nodes. They work as body filters, clean the excessive lymph from dead cells, viruses, bacteria, fungi, toxins and other foreign substances. The cleaned lymph fluid is then returned into the blood stream.
Result
Regular MLD massage:
- improves the immune system
- enhances vein, blood and lymphatic circulation
- helps to remove the syndrome of "heavy legs"
- helps to alleviate edema
- clears the skin
